Data Recovery Tips
Here are a few tips to make it easier to recover your data that has been lost.
Deleted or Vanishing Data
If you have deleted your data by accident or it has "disappeared" for some other reason, you should not create any new files, save any old ones, or move files around. This could make the data that you have lost unrecoverable. Also, if you decide to try to use some data recovery file utility program, DO NOT install it on the same hard drive where you lost your data.
Clicking, Grinding, or Metal Scraping Noises
If you hear your hard drive making very unusual noises, then there is a possibility that there may have been a head crash, and using the drive further can end up destroying your data. Turn off the drive immediately and give us a call so that we can assess the situation and give you further instructions for a successful data recovery.
